We are proud to announce that we have recently updated our ISO 17020 scope to include more services that we offer to our clients. ISO 17020 is an international standard that specifies the requirements for the competence of bodies performing inspection and for the impartiality and consistency of their inspection activities. Having an ISO 17020 scope demonstrates our commitment to quality, reliability, and integrity in our inspection services.
The updated scope covers the following services:
- Steel slab casting, plate and coil rolling.
- Equipment inspection.
- Loadout and receiving inspection.
These services are in addition to our existing scope, which covers:
- Linepipe production and linepipe coating inspection
To achieve the updated scope, we went through an extended 3-days onsite audit with two auditors onsite. The audit was rigorous and thorough, covering all aspects of our inspection processes, procedures, personnel, equipment, and records. We are pleased to report that we received the updated scope without any non-conformity or corrective actions required. This is a testament to our high standards and professionalism in delivering inspection services.
The update will benefit our customers in many ways. It will ensure that they receive the same results consistently from our inspection activities. It will also enhance their confidence in our inspection reports and certificates. Moreover, it will enable them to meet the regulatory and contractual requirements that demand ISO 17020 accredited inspection services.
